The Aark is a non-profit wildlife and rehabilitation center staffed by volunteers. We rely solely on donations by organizations and people like you. We are open 24 hours, 7 days a week for drop off. We are staffed from 7 AM – 11 PM. The Aark is staffed by a cadre of professionals and dedicated trained volunteers who provide 24 hour service, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Depending upon age and/or injury, an orphaned or wounded creature may required attention every couple of hours around the clock. Assistance is also available by trained individuals for phone inquiries on a variety of questionsrelating to injured or orphan birds and mammals. It is not uncommon for Aark professionals to spend a great deal of time coaching an individual on capturing and safely transporting a wounded animal to our Center.
